The hotel is newly renovated featuring beautiful architecture with an open courtyard in the middle. The rooms are large and comfortable with modern air conditioners. The hotel has an upstairs terrace with two hot tubs for relaxing. The location is ideal with easy walking distance to main squares, restaurants and shopping. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They serve breakfast in a formal dining room which adds to the charm.
The hotel lacks consistent hot water, though this seems to be a common problem in many Cuban hotels. the hotel's power outlets are a bit confusing, both 110V and 220V outlets available with no labeling and not all outlets work.

The newly renovated hotel offered a charming courtyard with comfortable, large rooms and modern air conditioning. We enjoyed relaxing in the two hot tubs on the terrace while surrounded by the beautifully designed courtyard. The location was ideal; it was close to many restaurants, shopping centers, and main squares providing a spectacular view. Another advantage was the availability of both 110V and 220V outlets providing us with convenience during our stay.
The warm water supply was not consistent during our romantic escape. On the first night of our stay, there was no hot water available, but fortunately, the cool taps were not particularly cold.
